Clara oversees our Design department and she offers advice on achieving an exposed brick wall finish.

She says:

What’s the best way of exposing a wall to achieve an exposed brick wall effect in a kitchen?

There are a variety of ways to achieve an exposed brick finish. One option is to strip back the layers on your existing wall to reveal the original brick. It’s worth doing a patch test to ensure the bricks are in good condition. Another option is to demolish the wall and rebuild it from scratch. The most cost-efficient solution are brick tiles. These look like a thin brick, and you place them directly onto your existing wall.
